Do you think our government is doing enough to protect our food sources? Why or why not?

  3. It depends on what you're referring to by "protecting our food sources". If you mean protecting it by keeping it kosher, then no. When we did our report we found that the government, i.e epa, fda, etc, rarely does the inspections "enforced" by the law. Meaning, our food isn't safe. However, if you mean protecting it from possible seizure, then yes.

  9. I think it is because of the food bill, if your farm gets destroyed the government will give you money to rebuild their farm.

  13. No because there are not enough inspections being done and it is not regulated correctly. Most of what people at isn't even real food because it is so processed.

  14. No, because the government is cheap, I mean its much easier to mass produce in a factory than to grow sufficient food on a farm. To them protection and regulation is just losing money.

  18. i think that the government should be over our food sources that there should be a specific organization that specializes in food but should be over watched by the government to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to.but with the circumstances the government is doing their best. -Tyra Mallet
